Expect lane closures next two nights in I-5 Aurora-Donald project

Northbound I-5 lanes affected Tuesday night, southbound Wednesday night

Watch for lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Jan. 21 and 22, for pavement work in the Aurora-Donald Interchange project on Interstate 5 around Exit 278:

• Tuesday night: We’ll close the far right northbound lane at 8 p.m. and the center lane around 10 p.m. We expect to reopen both lanes by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
• Wednesday night: We'll close the far right southbound lane at 8 p.m. and the center lane about 10 p.m. Wednesday night. We expect to reopen both lanes by 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

For your safety and the safety of road crews, slow down and watch out any time you enter a road work zone. Even at times that the zone doesn’t appear to be active, equipment and people may be present, and traffic patterns may be affected by the project.
