The Bridge of the Gods, connecting Cascade Locks, Ore. to North Bonneville, Wash. will be closed to all traffic starting tonight at 8 p.m. to midnight for overhead signage repair. Flaggers will be positioned on both the Washington and Oregon sides to direct traffic around the closure.
Options for drivers crossing the Columbia River during the closure includes the I-205 Glenn Jackson Bridge to the west and the Hood River Bridge to the east. Log on to Tripcheck.com to plan your trip.
The Bridge of the Gods is a steel truss cantilever toll bridge operated by the Port of Cascade Locks and spans the Columbia River between Cascade Locks, Oregon, and Washington state near North Bonneville. It is approximately 40 miles east of Portland, Oregon, and 4 miles upriver from Bonneville Dam.
