Woodburn DMV will extend service hours to better meet the community’s needs

Oct. 15, 2024

For more information, contact Chris Crabb, chris.c.crabb@odot.oregon.gov, 971-304-9705

WOODBURN – The Woodburn DMV at 1575 Mount Hood Ave, Suite 130, is expanding our service hours to better meet the community’s needs. Starting Nov. 1, we will no longer close for a daily 12:30-1:30 p.m. break. We are excited to offer customers this prime time, as the lunch hour is a popular option for people who need to visit the DMV during the work week.

Effective Nov. 1, Woodburn DMV’s new operational hours will be:

  • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Customers can also access more than 20 services online at DMV2U. We recommend customers always check the status of their DMV office before visiting.

REAL ID – Now Boarding, May 7, 2025

Starting May 7, 2025, anyone 18 and older must show identification that meets federal security standards set by the REAL ID Act to board a plane for flights within the U.S. A REAL ID-compliant Oregon driver’s license, instruction permit or identification card meets federal requirements. So does a U.S. passport, military ID, photo ID issued by a federally recognized tribal nation and other types of federally accepted identification. To get a REAL ID-compliant ID, you must visit a DMV office and bring original documents that prove your identity, date of birth, state residence address and lawful status in the U.S. Make sure you have REAL ID before booking a flight. Visit Oregon.gov/REALID.
