Delta Highway to Interstate 105 ramp is open for traffic

EUGENE — The southbound Delta Highway and Valley River Center onramps to westbound I-105 reopened to travelers today on schedule after eight weeks of construction. Barriers were removed just before 1 p.m.

Crews replaced concrete, made repairs, strengthened the ramp, installed new bridge rails, and paved over the past two months.

The westbound lanes of I-105 remain closed for construction until mid-June. Both directions of traffic are in single lanes in the eastbound travel lanes. The eastbound lanes will then close and both directions of traffic will be in single lanes in the westbound travel lanes. The schedule for the eastbound lane closure has not been finalized.
