Ontario DMV changing office hours
Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday starting Dec. 4
SALEM – The Ontario DMV office is adjusting its hours beginning Dec. 4, 2017. The new office hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST), Monday through Friday.
Located at 787 SW Seventh Place in Ontario, the office previously opened at 8 a.m. MST on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The Ontario office is the only Oregon DMV office that operates on Mountain Time.
This change will align opening hours with the DMV Headquarters in Salem, which operates on Pacific Time (PST). The new hours will improve the service offered in Ontario by having technical support available from DMV Headquarters during all operating hours.
The Ontario office provides all services except Commercial Driver License skills tests.
