About the Grant Management Trainings
The ODOT Rail and Public Transit Division is providing in-person Grant Management Training for Oregon transit providers at various locations throughout the state from late October through mid-December, 2017. A webinar will also be hosted in December for those agencies who cannot travel to an in-person session. You may sign up for any session that best meets your needs; the agenda will be similar at all sessions.
The training will cover the basic requirements for recipients of ODOT transit funds, reporting , reimbursement requests, charter bus and NTD reporting, and compliance review outcomes. We will highlight best practices and any upcoming changes in program requirements. We will also provide a short overview of upcoming grant opportunities and provide tips and best practices for completing those applications. Each live training session will last between five and six hours and includes lunch.
In Region 4 only, a separate OPTIS training will be held.
The statewide webinar in December will not allow time for questions. If you attend that session instead of a local on-site session and questions come up, please email them to your Regional Transit Coordinator. Those questions and the answers will be included in a training FAQ document which will be posted on the Rail and Public Transit Division website after the webinar.
