WB US 26 to OR 6 ramp
closed July 24-28

The U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) westbound ramp to Oregon 6 (Northwest Wilson River Highway) will be closed continuously from 4 a.m. Monday, July 24 until 1 p.m. Friday, July 28.

As a detour, traffic on westbound U.S. 26 can continue west until the Northwest Banks Road intersection, travel west on Northwest Banks Road for a half-mile then turn left on Oregon 47 (Nehalem Highway) and continue to the intersection with OR 6.
This closure is needed for a project to repave both directions of U.S. 26 between Northwest Glencoe Road and milepost 53, resurface some highway bridges and ramps, add cable media barrier, add rumble strips and repave the weigh station.
Paving and the nighttime lane closures are expected to continue through the summer.
Visit TripCheck.com for up-to-date traffic impacts and “Know before you go.”
More information, including detour routes, is available on the project website at http://www.oregon.gov/odot/projects/pages/project-details.aspx?project=18777
