OWRB has adopted the 'zero-trust' policy (Never trust, always verify). If OWRB receives a request from a borrower for a new bank account set up or to change financial information, an OWRB representative will contact a borrowing representative to verify account information.
Emerging Contaminants in your system's wastewater or surface water?
If so, OWRB can help with planning and design of your capital project and/or construction of your capital project through a forgivable loan (you don’t have to pay it back)!
Projects eligible for emerging contaminant funding can include (click here for information):
Projects at wastewater treatment facilities to treat for emerging contaminants
Stormwater projects to treat or contain the emerging contaminants in runoff
Landfill leachate collection or treatment to reduce runoff contaminated with emerging contaminants (or landfill closure)
Contaminated sites
Surface water protection
HAB removal or control may also be eligible
If you have a project that meets any of these criteria, please send a brief description and estimate of your project to Lori Johnson by clicking here
NOW IS THE TIME to get your projects ready for the next Emerging Contaminants funding cycle:
If you don’t have a project ready now, there will be additional funding available next fiscal year. This is a critical time to complete any monitoring and/or assessments to identify projects for this opportunity.
