Dam Safety at Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) National Conference

On September 19, 2023, dam safety staff presented at the 2023 ASDSO National Dam Safety Conference. Staff dam safety engineers, Emma and Natalie, explained Oklahoma's innovative solutions to fund dam safety projects. Their presentation described ongoing dam rehabilitation projects, and available State and Federal funding programs. Check out the following links for more information on potential funding programs:

Dam Safety Inspection Reminder

All dam inspections and emergency action plan (EAP) reviews/updates must be completed by December 31, 2023. Additionally, please refer to your previous 2022 Inspection Review Letter from the OWRB. If additional deadlines were included in this letter, please send those required documents to the OWRB.

Please be aware that inspection reports that are not completed by a qualified person or do not meet all the minimum standards will be returned and considered incomplete until all minimum standards are met.

Payments for the Dam Inspection Report Review and Administration Fees can be mailed directly to 3800 North Classen Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73118 or made using the OWRB online pay portal.
