Victim: McGuire, Locklyn Rose (W/F – 12/12/2022)
Arrested: McGuire, Jordan (W/M – 05/05/1991)
Arrested: Lambert, Darci (W/F – 01/29/2001)
Narrative: On Tuesday, November 18th, Oklahoma City Police were called to a residence in northeast Oklahoma City to check the welfare of a child who officers were told was not breathing. When first responders arrived, the child was found dead in a room inside the house. The child appeared to have been mauled to death.
Detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit began an investigation where it was learned the child was left locked and unattended for a substantial amount of time in a room with a household dog. Investigators also learned during this investigation that the child had been injured previously by the same animal; however, police were never notified of that incident. On Friday, November 21st, the parents were arrested on murder warrants and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
