Midtown Shooting Update (Arrests)

The Oklahoma City Police Department has made several arrests in connection to a shooting that occurred on May 5th at an establishment near NW 10th and Hudson. Investigators learned there was an altercation outside of the restaurant between Walker and other patrons. Walker then contacted Britton by telephone. Both Britton and Barnes returned in a vehicle and shots were fired at the crowd.
Following the shooting, Terrence Britton was stopped on traffic in Moore on May 12th and arrested for weapons charges. He has been in jail since that time and his charges have now been amended to include charges related to the shooting. During the extensive investigation, Assaults detectives learned the names of the two other suspects. They were both taken into custody at a residence in Moore on June 3rd. Barnes and Walker were interviewed and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail immediately following those interviews. All three suspects face multiple charges to include Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Use of a Vehicle to Facilitate a Shooting, Third Degree Arson, and Destroying Evidence.
