Date & Time of Incident: 4/9/2024 at 12:50 AM.
Location: 905 N. Rockwell.
Victim: Caraveo, Koby (B/M, DOB: 10/18/2001).
Arrested: Burris, Christopher (B/M, DOB: 5/31/1995).
Narrative: Early yesterday, police officers near NW 10th and Rockwell heard gunshots ring out in the area of an apartment complex at 905 N. Rockwell. Officers quickly located a shooting victim in the apartment complex and called for paramedics.
The shooting victim, Koby Caraveo, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. He later died as a result of his injuries.
The shooter, Christopher Burris, was apprehended a short time after the shooting and was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
