Central Hudson is proposing an outrageous rate hike–16.4% for electricity and 19% for gas service. County Executive Metzger successfully advocated with the Public Service Commission for an in-person hearing so that our residents and businesses can make their voices heard.
The hearing will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18 at 6 pm at the Restorative Justice Center, 733 Broadway in Kingston. You do not need to register in advance to speak. Comments are typically limited to three minutes. Spanish translation is available.
