This class led by artist Alia Bensliman will be an introduction to properly laying down gold foils on arches paper using basic gold leafing tools.

New Century Saxophone Quartet

For over 30 years, the New Century Saxophone Quartet has entertained audiences with a combination of skillful artistry and down-home fun. Founded in Winston-Salem, NC, the ensemble was the first of its kind to win the prestigious Concert Artist Guild competition in New York City. The quartet has toured extensively and has appeared on television and radio across the United States. It has dedicated its career to developing the repertoire of the saxophone quartet. 

NCSQ has appeared on television and radio across the US on NPR’s Performance Today and The Voice of America. The ensemble participated in a special performance for the Chinese New Year that was broadcast live to over 100 million people on television throughout the world. They have also performed for two command performances for President Clinton (a saxophonist himself!) in the White House and with the US Navy Band.

Experience an unforgettable evening of celebration at the annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks hosted by Hamilton Township! The event will take place on Monday, July 1 at Veterans Park, with a rain date scheduled for Tuesday, July 2nd. 

The festivities kick off at 6 p.m. with music and food from a variety of vendors, along with musical entertainment by the Heartbeats. Then, at 9:30 p.m., get ready for a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky. Don't miss out on this fantastic community event filled with fun, food, and incredible fireworks. Bring your family and friends to Veterans Park for a night to remember!

Bring your own lawn chairs and blanket and create memories to once again celebrates our nation’s independence at Ewing’s Independence Day Fireworks Celebration! There will be lots of fun for the whole family with rides and activities for the kids. Get there early (gates open at 6 p.m.) for an evening picnic and enjoy music provided by DJ Justin Macellaro. This year’s celebration will feature:

Songs and Stories of the American Revolution

Dressed in colonial clothing and performing rousing period songs and stories, Matthew Dodd will take you back in time to the days of the American Revolution. Mr. Dodd sings and plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin and recorder throughout the show.  This is an outdoor performance.
