MAPLEWOOD FARMERS MARKET
Bring the whole family down to our 2025 Maplewood Farmers Market this summer! Our 2025 market will feature fresh produce, meats & eggs; local food vendors; free monthly health screenings; and live music on select weekends. OUT & PROUD ALL JUNE LONG
Out In Mapso is back! Our vibrant & powerful month-long celebration returns this June to celebrate LGBTQ+ identity, visibility, and community in Maplewood and South Orange. Our June calendar boasts a slate of fun, inclusive events ranging from our traditional Equality March & Picnic, to proms, festivals, pickleball, performances, and family-friendly parties.   2025 ELECTION INFORMATION
A few key dates above & two big notes below:
1) We have a poll location change for Districts 4, 10, 16 & 22! Beginning with our 2025 Primary Election on June 10, 2025, your polling location is changing from Columbia High School to Clinton Elementary School, 27 Berkshire Road. (Clinton was the original location before construction required a temporary change to CHS.)
2) There isn’t an early voting site in Maplewood. To find available early voting sites, identify your district/polling locations and more, and hopefully answer any election question you could possibly dream up, visit our comprehensive 2025 election page. Still stymied? Call our friendly Township Clerk at 973-762-8120 x2100.
Shrubs and Overgrowth - Whether your shrubs are neatly trimmed or bursting with new growth, they may not overhang or impede the sidewalk. Same goes for trees and other plant growth. Be considerate of pedestrians and keep the sidewalks clear!
Gas-Powered Blowers - We may associate the prohibition on using gas-powered blowers with leaves only – but keep in mind they cannot be used in connection with any purpose, including, but not limited to, extermination, gutter cleaning, roofing, tree removal, etc.
Substance Use Disorder Mobile Outreach Van - You’ll typically find this van outside of our Community Food Shed at the corner of Springfield Ave & Indiana St. on the last Wednesday of every month. This month, you can meet the team there on May 28th from 10 - 2 p.m.
