Guided Bird Walk at Washington Crossing Historic Park
Thursday, May 15, 9 to 11 a.m.
Mornings are your best opportunity to experience the thrilling world of birdwatching and listening! Join the Park Naturalist for a slow, guided walk to look and listen for migratory avian friends. Topics such as basic bird identification through sound and sight will be discussed. Binoculars can be available upon request, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own. Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks: The Grandmasters of American Comedy - Virtual - MCLS

For more than seven decades, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks made America laugh—either through their remarkable solo careers or their legendary partnership. Whether together or apart, they were giants of American comedy who conquered every field they entered, whether television, movies, Broadway, or records. This presentation will examine their extraordinary achievements, beginning with their work together on Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows and their creation of the 2000 Year Old Man, to their individual accomplishments as writers, directors, and performers.  Welcome Historic Schooner to Trenton, May 14-18
From May 14 to 18, New Jersey’s Official Tall Ship, oyster schooner A.J. Meerwald, will be anchored at The Docks on the Delaware River next to Waterfront Park in Trenton. The ship’s visit was arranged by The Bayshore Center at Bivalve and the Mercer County Park Commission. The ship is 115 feet long and 70 feet tall with two masts and three sails.
