Union County Receives Second State Grant to Expand Internet Access
Union County has been awarded a second grant through the state’s Completing Access to Broadband (CAB) program to expand internet access in unserved and underserved areas. This new funding will bring high-speed internet to 1,189 homes and businesses—nearly 29% of the county’s eligible locations—helping to close the digital divide. Property Reappraisal Community Information Session
Property owners interested in learning more about the 2025 countywide property reappraisal process are invited to attend an upcoming Community Information Meeting on Thursday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe. The session will be a general information and Q&A forum. Staff will answer questions about the process, but property-specific concerns will not be addressed during the meeting. Property owners with questions about their assessment are encouraged to contact the Tax Administration Office by calling 704.283.3746 or by emailing taxhelp@unioncountync.gov.
