Cane Creek Park is hosting an ongoing program from Feb. 1-14. Throughout the main picnic area, painted rocks have been hidden. Your goal is to find a matching pair! Once you're ready to start your search, scatter through the area and let the matchmaking commence! Take in the surroundings, enjoy the fresh air, and keep your eyes peeled for a matching set. Only one pair of matching rocks per family may be redeemed for a Valentine's Day treat bag in the front office. Our lovely staff will be waiting to congratulate you on your successful quest.

Waxhaw Parks and Recreation will be hosting Yoga for Mindfulness every Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. This is an 18+ program and is beginner friendly! Register online or call 704.843.2195 ext. 235 to secure your spot!

Individuals age 50 and older are welcome to participate in the 2024 Senior Games. The senior games began in 1983 with a vision to create a year-round health promotion and wellness education program for older adults.

Registration is now open and the games will begin in March. A few events offered are: bowling, canasta, swimming, golf, cornhole, cycling, pickleball, table tennis, SilverArts, and so many more! To register, visit North Carolina's Senior Games website.

Save the date for Indian Trail Parks and Recreation's Touch a Truck event on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Chestnut Square Park.
