Homeland TV Series Production to Shoot Scenes  Downtown June 3 and 4
 
On Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4, Pacific 2.1 Entertainment Group will be filming scenes for season three of the “Homeland” TV series in Downtown Raleigh

No Parking signs will be posted Sunday, June 2 12:01 a.m. to Tuesday, June 4, 8:00 p.m. on the following streets:

  • Both curbsides of South Wilmington Street between East Morgan Street and Hargett Street; and,
  • Part of the east curb lane of the 100 Block of Fayetteville Street.

In addition, there will be no parking on New Bern Place beginning at 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 3 for filming on Tuesday.   The east entrance to New Bern Place will be closed to traffic at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4. The right lane of East Morgan Street will be closed between Fayetteville Street and Wilmington Street from 9:00 a.m. Saturday June 1 to 10:00 p.m. Monday, June 3.

On Monday, June 3, equipment trucks will arrive and park along the curb lanes of Wilmington Street for filming inside the North Carolina Supreme Court building. The trucks will remain overnight, and filming will continue in and around the Historic North Carolina State Capitol building and grounds until approximately 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4. Trucks will be loaded and moved from Wilmington Street by approximately 8:00 p.m.

The production company will not block any driveways, and will keep the sidewalks open. Traffic in the area may be held or diverted when necessary during sound takes. City of Raleigh Police Department will be on hand to maintain the safe flow of traffic through the area and to minimize any inconvenience.

Local merchants and customers may access area businesses with minimal delays. The production company is working in co-operation with the City of Raleigh, the State of North Carolina, and the North Carolina Film Commission.
