“Know the pulse of the child in the noise of demands.” - from ’Cradle Promise’ by Mala Naidoo, a biomedical research scientist who gives us these words to reflect upon as we celebrate our indigenous peoples and introduce you to our newest addition to the Montana Science Standards series: Montana Science Standards 501: IEFA and Equity! This course addresses the why and how's of culturally responsible integration of Indian Education for All (IEFA) while ensuring that your science instruction is equitable and meaningful. You may be utilizing face-to-face, remote, or a blended approach to instruction on any given day, and even that may be subject to change in short order. Take care of YOU and let us know additional ways WE can be of service! Grab some friends or colleagues, refreshments, and have a Hub Party! You will, of course, have to be on individual computers if you want RU’s, but you can chat or vent while you take a mental break and inspire one another with great professional development courses from the comfort of your chosen location! Reach out and share ideas, successes, frustrations, and look to your school, district, and state resources for support! We are all in this together and we will certainly get through it!
