PLP Insider for January 2020

Big Idea #1 - The OPI Learning Opportunities Portal is Now Easier to Search

We recently updated the OPI Learning Opportunities Portal Calendar site to make it easier to search.  You can now search by subject, provider, city, venue, event format (face-to-face, online, blended), OPI Renewal Units/College Credit, and cost. An average of 429 people visit the OPI Learning Opportunities Portal each month to locate professional learning opportunities across the state!

Big Idea #3 - 2020 National Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Conference

Are you interested in the latest information regarding federal programs and education?  The National ESEA Conference was designed for educational leaders from various Title programs across the U.S.  The conference is in Atlanta, GA on Feb. 4-7, 2020, and covers many topics, such as college readiness, cultural diversity, evidence-based practices, multi-tiered systems of support, and school climate and culture (just to name a few!).  We hope you’ll consider joining several OPI staff at the 2020 National ESEA Conference.
