Your MTSRN trial login credentials should now be in your inbox.
To help you get up and running quickly, we’ve attached a step-by-step guide (see attached PDF) that walks through the steps:
- Connect to the NTRIP Caster: 3.23.213.134, Port 2101.
- Selecting the correct mountpoints: When you connect your data collector to the internet (i.e., through SIM, cell modems, hotspots, Jetpack MiFi, etc.) and log in to the given NTRIP Caster using your login credentials, you will see a source table containing a list of mountpoints. See the attached PDF for more information.
- See the current printable map on the website, www.mtsrn.org.
- Users can use a subnet or a single station and do “network” or “single-base” solutions.
- Mountpoints are created to provide solutions, specific to GPS+GLN only, as well as full-length, multi-constellation GPS+GLN+GAL+BDS.
- Solution messages come in two data formats: RTCM, which is an internationally accepted data format, and CMR, which is a Trimble-specific data format.
- RTCM is not vendor-specific, and any RTN-compatible receiver can receive this format.
Most users can connect and start receiving corrections in just a few minutes after entering their credentials.
Quick Tip:You can also log in to the MTSRN website using the same credentials to:
- View live network health.
- Download static files for post-processing.
- Access maps and reference resources.
If you need help during setup, our local operator is available:mtsrn@mt.gov | 406-444-0240
We recommend connecting as soon as possible so you can get the most value out of your trial.
