(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library (MSL) Commission will meet in the Gertrude Buckhous Conference Room at the Montana State Library (1201 11th Ave, Helena) and on Zoom on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

The Montana State Library Commission meets at least six times per year.
Commissioners include

The Commission will consider action on:
- Consent Agenda: Minutes and 3rd quarter Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Report
- Fiscal Year 2026 Budget
- Fiscal Year 2026 Federations Plans of Service
The Commission will discuss:
- The Continuing Education and Certification program review
- Shortened Trustee Manual Review
- Excellent Library Services Award Subcommittee update
- Research Resources
- Considering changes to the open hours Public Library Standard
- State Library Legislative summary
- Federal funding update
- Administrative Procedures Act and MSL Administrative Rules
The Commission will receive informational updates on:
- Fiscal Year 2025 work plan
- 3rd Quarter FY25 reports
- Montana Hot Spot Program final report
- Preliminary FY26 Work Plan priorities
The Commission will review their work plan calendar, future agenda items, and self-directed GIS training opportunities.
Members of the public who wish to share public comments on an agenda item or any matter that is within the jurisdiction of the Commission may submit the comments by June 11th at noon here:
