Montana State Library Commission to Meet
(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library (MSL) Commission will meet at the Montana State Capitol, Room 172 in Helena and on Zoom on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend. For an agenda, meeting materials, and information about how to join the online meeting, visit:

The Montana State Library Commission meets at least six times per year. Commissioners include Elsie Arntzen - Superintendent of Public Instruction, Vice-Chair Tom Burnett of Bozeman, Carmen Cuthbertson of Kalispell, Tammy Hall of Bozeman, Brian Rossmann - Commissioner of Higher Education Appointee, Chair Robyn Scribner of Geraldine, and Peggy Taylor of Whitefish.
The Commission will consider action on:
- Consent Agenda
- Final State Aid Formula Administrative Rules to add Tribal College Libraries
- Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Budget
- FY 2025 Federations Plans of Service
- Commission Officer Elections
The Commission will discuss:
- MSL staff and Trust for Montana Libraries
- Montana Geographic Information Act grant presentation
The Commission will have a joint discussion with Montana Library Association leadership after lunch.
Members of the public who wish to share public comments on an agenda item or any matter that is within the jurisdiction of the Commission may submit the comments by June 10 at noon here: https://forms.office.com/g/JY8agHfuua. Comments may also be submitted in person or on Zoom at the meeting.
