Last Week for Meme Entries
Our 2024 Meme Contest closes next week, on May 15th. We have received 100+ entries already, so competition is ramping up. Entry is easy - just pick a photo from the Montana History Portal, turn it into a meme, and submit it to us using the easy links here. And a hint for those on the fence: the majority of our entries have been from students and young people, so if you are an adult and decide to enter, you stand a good chance of winning!

Transcripts for Yellowstone Oral Histories
We have made an important addition to one of our collections. The Yellowstone National Park Oral Histories collection contains 46 interviews covering topics including the 1988 fires, wolf reintroduction, bear management as well as social life and customs. The audio quality in some of these interviews is difficult to hear, so we have added transcripts of all interviews. You can navigate to those easily with the "Related PDF Document" link on the left side of each item page.
