Montana History Portal LEGO Challenge
We held our first ever LEGO History event this weekend, with our partners at Lewis & Clark Library. We were thrilled at the turnout, and all the enthusiastic builders. Contestants used a historic Montana photo from the History Portal as inspiration and competed for prizes. We were blown away by their work! We will have photos uploaded to the site next week of the great LEGO builds, and we look forward to running this event again next year.

New Jim Annin Photos
We've uploaded a fresh batch of images from the Jim Annin Photo Collection, from the Museum of the Beartooths. At right is Herbert Alexander Russell, on his claim on Limestone Butte, circa 1920. Russell, the son of Alexander and Helen (Stuart) Russell, was born in 1889 in Scotland.
