  • In Montana melanoma is the 3rd leading cause of cancer among teens and young adults (aged 15 to 39) accounting for 12% of all cancers in this age group.
  • In 2021, 365 new cases of melanoma occurred in Montana; melanoma incidence rates in Montana are higher than the United States overall.
