Election Day Reminders
City of Minneapolis sent this bulletin at 11/05/2024 09:35 AM CST
November 5th, 2024
Dear Community,
Today is Election Day. Eligible voters in Ward 2 have the opportunity to cast votes for federal, state, and local representatives as well as vote on several issue-based ballot questions.
- If you haven't already, make sure to cast your vote at your polling place. Click here to find your polling place.
- Polling places are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
- As long as you're in line by 8 pm, you can vote, even if you do not reach the front of the line until after 8 pm.
- It can be helpful to review a sample ballot that shows a list of all the candidates and ballot questions you'll be voting on.
Voting is one tactic that can help build a safe, equitable, thriving city for all. Whether or not you are eligible to vote in Minneapolis, I encourage all residents to get involved in your community year-round to advance the things you care about most.
The city's Election and Voter Service workers put in countless hours to make Minneapolis elections efficient, accessible, and fair. If you vote today, remember to thank the poll workers.
Sincerely,
Council Member Robin Wonsley
