Ward 12 Public Health Advisory Board Position Open- Apply by Midnight

Dear Neighbors,

There is an opening for the Ward 12 position for the public health and advisory board that I shared in my last newsletter. The application is due tonight by midnight to be considered for appointment.

The PHAC advises the Mayor, City Council and the Health Department on policy matters affecting the health of Minneapolis residents, reviews Health Department priorities and provides community input, and makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council. Members serve as liaisons between the City and the community in addressing health concerns. Apply now at this link:

These meetings are great opportunity for residents to engage with me, and each other. I'm also hoping that the virtual option creates more accessibility for our neighbors who don't often get to make it to my in-person events.

Minnehaha 3000 Open House Oct. 2

The City of Minneapolis has proposed redeveloping the former 3rd Precinct building into a democracy center. It would house Elections & Voter Services and offer a large, ground-floor space for community use. We’ve asked for and gathered your feedback beginning in 2023. Join us at an open house to hear about what we've learned.
