January 7, 2024 (Minneapolis): At approximately 1:20 on Sunday afternoon, Minneapolis Police Department officers from the Fourth Precinct responded to reports of a dead body in the garage of an unoccupied house on the 700 block of 30th Ave N. In the garage, officers located the body of a man in a garbage bin.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. There have been no arrests.
The GO number is 24-005698.
Forensic scientists from the Minneapolis Police Forensic Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence. Homicide detectives responded to begin an investigation.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the man’s name and the cause and nature of his death.
