December 24, 2023 (Minneapolis): At approximately 8 o’clock on Sunday morning, Minneapolis Police Department officers from the 3rd Precinct responded to reports of a stabbing on the 5200 block of Minnehaha Ave. In a residence, officers located a 46-year-old man who had been fatally stabbed.
A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene.
The GO number is 23-340554.
Forensic scientists from the Minneapolis Police Forensic Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence. Homicide detectives responded to begin an investigation.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the victim’s name along with the cause and nature of the death.
