December 19, 2023 (Minneapolis): UPDATE. On Monday, December 18th, 2023, MPD Officers and Investigators tracked Jonny Brown to Maple Grove. At approximately 8:50 p.m., officers conducted a felony traffic stop near the intersection of Douglas Dr N and St Croix Ave N in Golden Valley, MN. Johnny Brown, DOB 2/17/1973, was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County Jail for PC Murder.

12-19-2023 MR 23-334680 Woman dies after shooting - UPDATE - 4271 Sheridan Av S.pdf
December 18, 2023 (Minneapolis): On Sunday, December 17, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers from the 5th Precinct responded to reports of a shooting at 4271 Sheridan Ave S. Officers identified a 43-year-old female with a fatal gunshot wound inside an apartment. Officers provided immediate medical care including CPR. Despite all lifesaving efforts, the female died at the scene.
Preliminary information indicates that this is a domestic-related incident between the female and her live-in domestic male partner. No arrests have been made.
Forensic scientists from the Minneapolis Police Forensic Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence. Homicide detectives responded to begin an investigation.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the name of the deceased along with the cause and manner of her death.
