November 11, 2023 (Minneapolis) On November 7, 2023, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers from the 4th Precinct responded to the 1200 block of Humboldt Ave N for the report of a shooting. Officers located an adult male in his 20s with at least one life-threatening gunshot wound seated in the driver seat of a stolen vehicle. The injured male was transported by EMS to HCMC.
Forensic Scientists from the Minneapolis Police Forensic Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence.
Due to the nature of the injury, Minneapolis Police Homicide Investigators responded to begin their investigation.
On November 11, 2023, MPD was notified that the male in his 20s had died at the hospital.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the name of the deceased along with the cause and nature of his death.
