Two HCSO Deputies Sustain Non-Life-Threatening Injuries in Minnetonka

April 10, 2024 (Minnetonka) - Today, at approximately 11:18 am, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) staff were executing a warrant in Minnetonka. Two HCSO deputies sustained non-life-threatening injuries. One deputy was transported to the hospital for further care for non-life-threatening injuries. The other deputy was treated and released on scene.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene and it is considered active but contained. There is no threat to the general public at this time. 

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is investigating the incident. This is an active investigation and no further information is available at this time. Law enforcement will hold a press conference at 4 pm in Minneapolis City Hall, 350 South 5th St., Minneapolis, MN 55415.
