Join the next monthly Substance Use Disorder Community of Practice meeting

The Minnesota Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Behavioral Health Administration’s Substance Use Disorder (SUD) unit will hold the next Community of Practice (CoP) meeting on Jan. 21, 2026. Participants will review and refine a map of Minnesota’s SUD ecosystem; identify which decisions they can influence in their own roles as well as who to engage when decisions sit elsewhere and hear from panelists sharing needs and experiences from diverse perspectives. 

New faces are welcome and encouraged to attend.  

Why it matters

The CoP is a venue to build relationships, share what’s working, troubleshoot challenges and elevate community voices to inform SUD practice and policy across Minnesota.

  • Individuals with lived SUD experience and family members 
  • SUD/MH providers and recovery community organizations 
  • Researchers and academic partners 
  • County and tribal partners 
  • Managed care organizations 
  • State agency partners (DHS, MDH, DOC)
