The MDH Injury & Violence Prevention Section has recently updated their Drug Overdose Dashboard. The dashboard provides information on overdose trends, types of substances involved in overdoses, racial disparities in overdoses, substances used at the time of admission to substance use disorder treatment, prescribing patterns, and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. The dashboard displays trends over time and visually depicts the impact of the drug crisis in Minnesota.
You can request county-specific data to utilize in program planning and to better understand a comprehensive picture of what the opioid epidemic looks like in your community by emailing health.drugodepi@state.mn.us.
