On September 29th, we sent E-Memo #16-35 announcing upcoming community meetings that will be held across the state to review the Policy Recommendations Report and obtain your feedback. The community forum meeting dates have been updated.
Greetings,
The MN Department of Human
Services would like to provide an update of reform efforts to create an
efficient and effective system of prevention, early intervention, treatment and
recovery that values a person’s dignity, is accessible, utilizes best practices
and optimizes value.
The Plan for
Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services in Minnesota is the
culmination of years of work incorporating the Model of Care
recommendations, input from Listening
Sessions, and work with our partners and providers. As part of
this work, we would welcome an opportunity to receive your feedback.
We would like hear how this
plan intersects with your experiences and priorities. It is our hope that
collaboration with all entities that are affected by, pay for, or provide
addiction services will result in a reform package that will become a watershed
moment for the citizens of Minnesota.
We look forward to working
with you.
Respectfully,
Brian Zirbes MA, LADC,
