Get a Nutritious Meal for a Child

It’s summertime, and the Michigan Department of Education is kicking off the Summer Food Service Program with Meet Up and Eat Up! This program is a way to help parents and caregivers identify places where kids 18 and younger can gather for healthy, free summer meals at hundreds of sites across Michigan.

Maranda Park Parties. All Park Parties are from noon to 2 p.m. Free lunch is served to anyone 18 and under starting at 11:30 a.m., while supplies last. Every Park Party includes free activities, games, entertainment, and prizes.

July 14: Kollen Park, Holland

July 21: East Kentwood High School, Kentwood

July 28: Northwestern Middle School, Battle Creek
