Get first dibs on upcoming State Land Bank project bids with the new pre-qualification process. Responses to the Request for Qualification for Real Estate Development Partners are being accepted on an ongoing basis. All submissions will be reviewed within 90 days after proper submission.
In addition, the SLBA has three development opportunities on SLBA-owned properties in the cities of Grand Ledge and Muskegon Heights. Pre-qualified development partners will receive the first opportunity to review and submit proposals for these development opportunities.
SLBA and the cooperating local governments are looking for qualified developers with a record of success in residential, mixed-use, commercial, alternative energy and industrial development projects to become part of SLBA’s developer group that will energize development statewide.
SLBA encourages non-profit, for profit, women- and minority-owned businesses to provide their credentials to be pre-qualified for these unique opportunities. Interested entities should submit their credentials as soon as possible so they don’t miss out on pre-qualified development partner opportunities.
Upcoming opportunities include a former gas station, a mix of vacant residential and commercial properties and a former elementary school. Future opportunities may be released exclusively to pre-qualified development partners.
