City of Detroit Budget Meetings Begin!
Attend the budget hearings to ensure that city programs and departments receive funds to address your concerns.
Mayor Duggan outlining his budget proposal to City Council and the public today Friday , February 23rd at 10 AM. Then, each city Department will sit before Council over the next two weeks for a budget hearing to discuss their priorities and proposed budget for next year. The public is encouraged to attend any and all of these hearings and can to speak on them at the beginning of each day's hearings and again after the final hearing on Monday, March 5th at 4:30 PM.
