All are welcome. Attendees are eligible for up to 6 continuing forestry education (CFE) credits. Registration is required.
The Maine Tree Farm Committee is starting its search for the 2026 Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year, and we need your help recognizing exceptional Tree Farmers in each county. We'd like to invite you to identify Tree Farmers in your area who demonstrate a commitment to sustainable forestry. We seek individuals or organizations that go above and beyond the Sustainability Standards, inspiring others as role models for the Maine Tree Farm Program!
To nominate a Tree Farmer, complete the Tree Farmer of the Year application(PDF) and submit it to your County Chair by August 15, 2025. County Chairs will then select an Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year for their region, and the finalists for the Maine Outstanding Tree Farm of the Year will be chosen at the Tree Farm Committee meeting on September 3, 2025.
We also invite you to join us on Saturday, September 6, 2025, to celebrate the 2025 Outstanding Tree Farmers of the year, Jay & Kathryn Libby, at “Libby Maple” in Cornville, Maine.
If you have any questions, contact your County Chair or contact Kevin Allcroft, Chair, Outstanding Tree Farm of the Year Committee at 207-825-3033 or 207-299-8012.
Thank you for your support.
