Dear Neighbors,
As temperatures soar across our region, I want to take a moment to express my sincere concern for the well-being of each and every one of you. Extreme heat can pose serious health risks — especially for older adults, children, individuals with medical conditions, and those without access to air conditioning.
Please take every precaution to stay safe: drink plenty of water, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, and know that Cooling Centers are available throughout Prince George’s County to provide relief during this heat emergency.
My office remains committed to supporting you. We encourage you to review the important safety tips and resources provided below, and to check in on your loved ones and neighbors. Let’s take care of each other during this time.
Warm regards,
Queridos vecinos,
Mi oficina sigue comprometida a servirles.
