Hello Prince Georgians,
I’m excited to share that the application period for our Summer Youth Enrichment Program—better known as SYEP—is OPEN through March 31, 2026.
This opportunity, through our Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM), is open to young people ages 14 to 24 who are ready to gain real-world work experience this summer.
Applicants will be entered into a random lottery for the chance to be placed in a paid, 6-week job experience with Prince George's County Government or County partners. During these 6 weeks, they’ll develop hands-on skills, receive professional development training, and explore a variety of career pathways, right here, in Prince George’s County.
SYEP is more than just a paycheck—it’s about early career access, building resumes, strengthening interview skills, discovering career interests, and preparing for long-term success.
This is a highly in-demand program. We are encouraging all young Prince Georgians to apply as soon as they can. Let’s use this summer to elevate our youth and invest in their bright futures.
