Outreach Teams to Help With Big Changes Coming to Ride On. Zero Fares and Schedule Changes are Starting June 29
Big changes are coming to your Ride On service! Beginning Sunday, June 29, all Ride On, Ride On extRa, Ride On Flex, and Flash buses will be Zero fare to ride under Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s new Zero Fare Policy.
In addition to eliminating fares, Ride On will also introduce schedule and route changes on June 29 to improve service reliability, reduce wait times, and better connect you to key destinations like jobs, schools, and medical centers.
To help riders understand these changes, Ride On staff will be stationed at key transit locations during morning and evening rush hours as well as mid-day on weekends from Monday, June 23 through Saturday, July 5 (excluding July 4). Staff will be available to answer questions and provide information on:
- The new Zero Fare Policy
- Route changes and new schedules
- Transit connections
