Comptroller Franchot to Promote SECU Cares Package for Healthcare Workers

State's largest credit union to introduce new program at event this afternoon

WHAT:

Comptroller Franchot this afternoon will join SECU, Maryland’s largest state chartered credit union, to promote SECU Cares Package, a new initiative designed to show appreciation for the perseverance, compassion and bravery displayed by healthcare workers. The program will thank Maryland’s healthcare heroes through exclusive financial wellness services, community outreach and financial center support.

The Comptroller and leaders from SECU will hold a news conference at its West Street branch in Annapolis to tout Maryland’s healthcare community, describe the benefits of SECU Cares Package, and explain how Marylanders can get involved with the initiative, which will run until June 30.
