Comptroller Franchot to Hold Virtual Press Briefing Friday on State Revenues

Initial fiscal impact of COVID-19 pandemic to be discussed

WHAT:

Comptroller Franchot will hold a virtual press briefing Friday morning to share initial projections on Maryland's fiscal health as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bureau of Revenue Estimates Director Andrew Schaufele will deliver an adjusted revenue forecast for Fiscal Year 2020 that will inform fiscal leaders as to what budget actions may be needed.
