Carroll Food Sunday Drive-Through Operation Begins Tuesday
Westminster, MD, Monday, March 23, 2020 –Carroll County Food Sunday will be providing non-perishable/shelf stable food for its clients on Tuesday, March 24, and Thursday, March 26, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., on the parking lot of East Middle School at 121 Longwell Avenue, in Westminster. In order to manage the distribution, we ask that individuals stagger their pick-up day based on their last name: those whose last name begins with “A through M” pick up on Tuesday; those whose last name begins with “N through Z’ pick up on Thursday. Please be prepared to show an ID for verification.
Bags of food will be distributed in a drive-through operation. Food Sunday is working with the Carroll County Government to provide this non-perishable food in a setting that affords safety to everyone in these unprecedented times when health issues are of utmost concern. Further announcements will be forthcoming about future distribution.
