Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana area access to participate in arts, culture, science, history, heritage, and nature activities provided by over 50 venues, free of charge, from May 31 through August 10, 2025.

Louisville Metro Juneteenth Jubilee Commission
Floodwall Mural Pilot Project
 The Louisville Commission on Public Art, in partnership with MSD and Waterfront Park, has selected artist Laurie Blayney for a large-scale floodwall mural installation located at 10th and Rowan Street. The mural will celebrate and enhance the unique characteristics of the project site and invite a variety of different audiences to visit a newly reimagined section of riverfront. The project is in its last planning stages before installation as the US Army Corps of Engineers finalizes permits.

Share your thoughts and ideas on feedback generated through focus groups. We also encourage residents to add to the Cultural Asset Map.
The Arts and Culture Plan will serve as a roadmap for the city's arts and culture initiatives, guiding investments, partnerships, and programming. It will address key areas such as:

 Ballet Bound Audition Tour
This summer, in partnership with Olmsted Parks, Louisville Ballet will host seven outdoor audition workshops to identify approximately 20 dancers for the 2025-26 Ballet Bound Community Class. Auditions are open to all children ages 7-9 (by August 1)

 Beechmont Summer Concert Series
The Beechmont Neighborhood Association is excited for the return of the third annual Beechmont Summer Concert Series. The Concert Series is designed as a free, outdoor musical experience at the gazebo (corner of Southern Parkway and West Woodlawn Avenue) with artists/bands from the Louisville Federation of Musicians (Local 11-637). Attendees will enjoy live music, experience the beauty of the Olmstead Parkway, and spend time with neighbors.

Webinar: Update on Executive Actions Affecting Federally Funded Nonprofits

The UST Education series will be hosting a webinar with speakers from the National Grants Management Association (NGMA). This presentation is tailored to nonprofit leaders and grants professionals navigating the evolving federal policy landscape. The session will provide an overview of critical Executive Orders, their implementation and impact on nonprofits. The webinar will explore proactive strategies that nonprofit leaders can adopt in response to these significant changes, empowering organizations to adapt effectively while continuing to fulfill their missions.
- Identify important Executive Orders implementing revised policy for federally funded nonprofits and agency approaches to implementation.
- Explain federal rights to update terms and conditions of awards, as well as terminate federal awards that “no longer effectuates agency priorities.”
- Evaluate key underlying federal civil rights laws implicated by certain of the Executive Orders and discuss practical compliance considerations.
- Develop strategies for nonprofit leaders to respond effectively to the changing federal landscape.
