They will also be conducting a cell phone drive. The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is partnering with the Victim Services Unit and 911 Cell Phone Bank (911cellphonebank.org). They collect used working and non-working/broken cell phones, reset the devices to factory settings, guarantee complete data erasure and if they cannot erase the data, the device gets recycled through a licensed R2 recycler.
The program provides the phones to law enforcement and victim services agencies for distribution to vulnerable residents in communities nationwide.
Donating your old cell phone is a way to support the work of 911 Cell Phone Bank and give back to our community by ensuring victims of crime have meaningful access to emergency services.
All shows are free to attend and run from 6-10pm. Bring a cooler, picnic basket or grab some food from one of the vendors.
You are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show.
