Louisville Pure Tap® 5k

WHEN:   Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 8:30 am

WHERE:  The Louisville Pure Tap® 5k race begins and ends at the home of Louisville's award-winning drinking water, Louisville Water Tower Park, 3005 River Road.

Presented by Louisville Water Company, the family-friendly Louisville Pure Tap® 5k follows a course that runs east and west on River Road. (View Course Map in below link.)

Anyone interested in participating can register online until midnight on Sept. 8 by clicking HERE. Or they can register at Louisville Water Tower Park on Fri., Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sat., Sept. 10 from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. Entry fee cost is $30. Those already registered may pick up their packets during the same time frame.

Our number one goal is to ensure all of our race participants, staff and volunteers have a safe – and fun – experience. The following safety protocols will be in place for this year’s race:

---Packet pick-up will be conducted as a drive-through so individuals can collect their race packets from inside their cars.

---Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be available throughout the course and will be placed in key areas such as race start, finish lines and hydration station.

The Louisville Pure Tap® 5k is the first race of the Louisville Sports Commission’s series of three fall running races that provides unique courses and quality experiences for runners and walkers. Following the Louisville Pure Tap® 5k is the Norton Sports Health 8k, set to take place on Oct. 1 in the Parklands of Floyds Fork. The series concludes with the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon on Oct. 8.
